BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. -- Knights men's cross country ran on Saturday in the annual Shannon Henretty Invitational 8K hosted by Stevenson University, placing sixth as a team and finished as the top junior college present.
The Knights also finished better than three four-year institutions (Marymount (Va.), Arcadia and Lycoming).
In the field of 122 runners, freshman Garrett Harris (Loch Raven) was the fastest Knight, finishing in 26th with a time of 28:06.7, less than two minutes off the winner.
Freshmen Jesse Kerr (Oakland Tech), Charles Whiting (Abeka Academy), John Weiss (Dundalk) and Bradley Allen (Dundalk) completed the race with times of 32:39.1, 33:04.1, 33:21.5 and 33:31.8, respectively.
The Knights will head to Newville, Pa. on September 22 to run in the Dickinson Long & Short Invitational, hosted by Dickinson College.
